Yesterday was ,a great day semi clean 4ft + on the set ocasional barrel i saw one young American tourist surfer get one of the longest back hand barrels ive seen in a long time ,but those waves were far and few between.taking nothing away from the young surfer the last back hand barrel i ve seen like that was Tim Curren a few years ago and that day the barrels were consistant.The young man did well grabbed the rail stuck his shoulder into the face of the wave to slow the board down and the rest  was history all the way to the rip .congrats.I got a few nice ones but nothing of that caliber.Ill be over there again this evening.Russell
