I was encouraged to head out to duppies today ,hit the first of this north swell ,wow the roads up there in st lucy it looks like a war zone .its been quite a while since ive been up there and it will be another while till i go again.It took me an hour each way the waves were 4 ft reasonable conditions but what a walk down that cliff ,i realy feel as though ive been on an expedition.up side no crowds verses horribal roads trecharous walk down cliff. longest drive in barbados.ill give soup bowl a try tomorrow.on reflection It was quite nice hanging with Nick and his mate no one hassling for waves beautiful sunset but what my feet are sore climbing back up that cliff with surfboard in hand the bowl is much more user frendly and i hear the waves were better.I knew that ,sometimes its just cool to be out surfing with good frends.Russell
