The surf school has been extreamley buisy this month,and we have a few tired instructors on our hands,this week was especialy hard as Kane fell sick on saturday with kidney stones.so matthew and myself had to pick up the ball .its been fun for myself to be back out there teaching and ive meet some nice people from some interesting back grounds.yesterday Scott and Chris came to the surf school for some beginer lessons,which is not that strange but their professions were Scott works at the USA Pentagon ,no i asked he dosent sweep the floor but im not allowed to say any more.Chris is the senator of Louisiana 's right hand man .they are both young very intelegent men,and i never thought i would be teaching these guys how to surf.Especialy after watching all those Holiwood movies.My how the stigma attached to surfing and surfers has dissapeared.During the sixtys only rebels and hippies had surfboards,if you wanted a regular police search just move around with a surf board .strap it to your car roof or a dirt bike and you were garanteed a few unwanted police friends.If you wanted to remain unimploied for the remainder of your life just say you are a surfer,and here we are 2010 all pretending it never happened.you just got to give those hippies and rebels their due respect they knew what they were on to and now everyone wants a peice of it ,that freedom that money just cant buy,the first time i stood up on a board i knew .it was almost like being able to fly.BE COOL,Russell
